What This Reference Does
Idaho public-record rules can make arrest and booking information available, but availability does not mean that every photograph is posted on a public web page. Fremont County's Sheriff's Office maintains the county-jail function, while the arresting city agency may hold its own report. The state corrections department covers a later custody stage, the courts show what happens after booking, and a public-record request supplies the documented fallback when no online roster is available.
The purpose here is to name those official systems, explain their limits, and make the request path easier to follow. Fremont County Busted Mugshots does not copy booking photographs, assemble names into a gallery, or treat an allegation as a finding of guilt.
Information Available by Route
The county's systems answer different questions. The main Fremont County page handles the complete lookup path, including the Sheriff's Office contact, JustFOIA request route, VINELink custody notices, court records, state custody, and the absence of a verified public booking roster.
- County-wide instructions for a named booking record, associated photo when releasable, and the official custody path.
- City pages for St. Anthony, Ashton, and Teton, with each city's agency and records limits kept separate.
- Wanted Fugitives for warrant confirmation, tip channels, and safe reporting when no public county list is available.
- Arrest News for selected local coverage, source credits, and the path from a story to the official case record.
- State, federal, court, archive, and public-record routes when the person is no longer in a county-jail stage.
